One Day Workshop - Intro to Relief: Linocut Patterns (NPS)

Ages 16+
Learn the basics of linocut and take home a printed "quilt" of linocut patterns. We'll take inspiration from patterns used in quilting and other textiles, and each participant will design and carve their own patterned block, which we'll print individually and all together as a composite quilt image. This class will cover the basics of tools, carving techniques, registration, and two printing methods (by hand and on the etching press). No prior experience necessary.
All materials provided.
Parking: Please park on either Iwo Jima Lane or Cedar Street. Parking that is located in front of the Neighborhood Print Studio are for residents living in the Pajama Factory.
