What a perfect introduction to screen printing! The studio was well set up and fully prepared for the class. Maxine is a terrific teacher giving a clear overview of printmaking in general and the specifics of how the NPS studio works and is optimally maintained. Her enthusiastic, well-informed, and patient step by step guidance in creating our first two-color print was greatly appreciated. Studio assistant Nick was helpful throughout. Given this very positive first experience, I look forward to attending more workshops and supporting NPS!

Great fun to learn a new technique in a wonderful space. Always love the experience of the variety of student work that develops. Good instruction, sample work and encouragement. Also some helpful tips for good ‘habits’ using the equipment and cleaning-up. So happy to know Kingston has this wonderful studio!
