How we present artwork shapes how it is experienced. In this hands-on class, students will learn the practical skills and quiet craft of preparing artwork for exhibition. We’ll cover mat cutting, framing basics (including floating and shadow-style frames), mounting works on paper, and stretching and supporting textiles for display. Students are encouraged to bring their own artwork, questions, and unique display challenges. Together, we’ll explore approaches that highlight each piece's character while protecting it for the long term.

This class is ideal for artists, collectors, and anyone interested in the thoughtful care and presentation of artwork.
